This report explores the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI)/Māori police staff in relation to their recruitment and ongoing retention within the police agencies across Australia and New Zealand, with a view to identifying opportunities for jurisdictions to learn, adapt and evolve recruiting the retention policies and practices to promote greater diversity and inclusion of ATSI/Māori persons in workforce numbers.
