In October 2024, the Online Safety Code for dating services (the Code) commenced operation. The Code is a voluntary industry code of practice which establishes safeguards to reduce the risk of online enabled harm to users of online dating services operating in Australia. This Protocol is designed to meet the obligations of online dating services who are signatories to the Code (industry participants) and policing organisations.
