At ANZPAA we support our policing partners with strengthening foresight capabilities to prepare for uncertain, complex, and potentially turbulent futures. The new ANZPAA Futures and Strategic Foresight Toolkit has been developed to assist police to better plan for the future.

Futures analysis is essential to help police allocate resources effectively, collaborate with stakeholders and continuously improve practices. Anticipating and preparing for future challenges helps police agencies stay ahead of the curve.

The toolkit has been designed for police at all levels. It can be used to apply futures analysis to your own work or used in workshop environments to develop futures thinking capabilities within teams.

The analysis that stems from using the techniques in the toolkit is particularly useful for informing strategic planning, organisational change and assessments of future threats and opportunities for policing.

Police in Australia and New Zealand can access the toolkit by logging into the ANZPAA member site or registering for an account.
