ANZPAA NIFS presents the John Harber Phillips Award biennially to an individual making an exceptional and long-lasting contribution to the advancement of the forensic sciences.

The Award honours the late Honourable Professor John Harber Phillips AC QC, who had a distinguished career in law and whose unstinting interest in the forensic sciences shaped fruitful and lasting collaborations. The Award aims to promote and inspire others to advance the forensic sciences through leadership and innovative thinking. A committee comprising esteemed representatives of the forensic sciences, police and legal communities judge the Award.

ANZPAA NIFS encourages forensic science, forensic medicine, police and legal community peers to nominate a colleague for the Award by downloading and completing the nomination form, which outlines nominee eligibility, Award criteria and prompts the information required to assist in judging.

Nominations close of business (AEST) Monday, 6 June 2022.
