ADVIC is facilitated by ANZPAA NIFS and comprises of Disaster Victim Identification commanders from each Australian State and Territory and also New Zealand, as well as a specialist scientific representativefrom the areas of pathology, biology, odontology and anthropology.ADVIC meets annually to discuss and resolve issues affecting the forensic and disaster victim identification community within Australia and New Zealand. CWALN membership is invitation-only and is formerly funded by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and facilitated by ANZPAA NIFS. The Network brings together forensic experts in chemical agent analysis with the aim of capability building, information sharing, education and training and quality assurance.The Defence Scientific and Technical Group (DSTG) provides training, collaborative trials and reference standards for the Network.
