This Strategy provides a comprehensive and co-ordinated framework that integrates and builds upon existing child protection strategies across Australia and New Zealand.

It aims to promote early intervention and prevention, increases police responsiveness on child abuse, build consistency in investigations, establish standards and principles and promote a whole-of-community approach.
