ANZPAA Board

ANZPAA is directed by and accountable to the ANZPAA Board. The ANZPAA Board consists of all the Police Commissioners in Australia and New Zealand, and other representatives from key government agencies. The Commissioner of South Australia Police, Malcolm Hyde, is the Chair and Commissioner of Tasmania Police, Darren Hine, is the Deputy Chair.

The Board reports to, and through, the Standing Council on Police and Emergency Management (SCPEM), Senior Officers Group (SOG) annually to SCPEM.

SOG is a standing committee of officials that exists to support the activities of SCPEM. SCPEM is comprised of the Ministers responsible for police from the Australian Government, each Australian State and Territory and New Zealand.

The Risk and Audit Committee is a committee of the ANZPAA Board that assists with financial reporting, internal control, risk management and internal and external audits.

The ANZPAA Board approves the creation of all Forums, Committees and Working Groups. ANZPAA plays a key role in improving governance, and enhancing cooperation between jurisdictions through facilitating these meetings. ANZPAA further ensures the agenda of each is in line with ANZPAA's Vision, Mission and Work Program.
