Operation Unite demonstrates the united resolve of Police Commissioners to change Australia and New Zealand’s culture of binge drinking in public places and challenge the drinking public to take greater responsibility for their behaviour.

Alcohol-fuelled violence is one of the most pressing social challenges of our time. Tackling it requires more than just the police working in isolation. We all need to take a stand against anti-social behaviour and challenge the prevalent ‘drink-to-get-drunk’ culture.
