The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join their dynamic and progressive organisation.

 

The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our dynamic and progressive organisation.

 

The Tri Service has approximately 1900 permanent staff and over 500 fire and emergency service volunteers working in diverse locations that extend from the northern reaches of the Tiwi Islands to the southern desert communities and eastern and western boarders with QLD and WA.

 

The organisation is looking for a dynamic CIO to provide strategic leadership for the ICT Branch. As CIO you will be providing overall direction and guidance to the Branch to develop innovative and technological strategies to achieve measurable improvements in frontline effectiveness and efficiency.

 

You will provide leading edge high quality client service and ensure achievement of all objectives set at Government and organisation level.

 

Ideally you will have a proven track record in the implementation of major ICT projects. Your background should demonstrate  outstanding leadership, effective collaborative partnerships, project management and negotiating skills, along with the ability to lead change projects that incorporate a wide range of ICT products and services in a challenging organisational environment.
