ANZPAA releases new business plan
29/07/2010 11:02:06 AMAt the recent ANZPAA Board meeting held in Canberra, the Board endorsed the launch of ANZPAA’s 2010-2011 & Ongoing Activities Business Plan.
ANZPAA was established as an integrated repository of a broad range of activity, secretariat and policy support. At the meeting, the Board directors reflected on the many challenges and accomplishments ANZPAA has achieved since its inception and ratified ANZPAA’s continued role servicing jurisdictions. The review also gave the Board time to discuss the future capacity and capability of the agency.
The Board view ANZPAA’s ability to negotiate and develop common responses as a key part of our role, in particular our ability to facilitate and support collective operational activities at a national trans-Tasman level. These activities include, co-ordinating dates and times of operations, facilitating any common themes, negotiating joint messages (notwithstanding that each jurisdiction has locally tailored media strategies), negotiating with strategically positioned stakeholders, and compiling and communicating the results across Australia and New Zealand.
These activities and services are also reflected in the latest Business Plan.
